Quick Tea
The kids have just gone to bed & I've got half an hour to make & eat tea before leaving to play footy at 8pm.
We had some mashed potato left in the fridge so I think it's bubble & squeak tonight.
Put the kettle on.
Get a large frying pan on hot & throw in few cut up rashers of bacon.
While that's cooking, chop up some savoy cabbage & put in boiling hot water in a pan on the hob or a bowl in the microwave til cooked.
When they're done, drain the cabbage & put the cabbage & mash in the frying pan. Add a little extra oil & turn in segments every few minutes. You can't really over cook this so give it a go!
