Old Stool New Stool
I had a really cute little stool which I had taken from my Mums a while ago to have for Raphael to sit on. It was pretty paint damaged so I decided to give it a good clean. I have an electric hand sander which is great for projects like this. It took me about 15 mins to sand most of it off. I didn't want it to be perfectly clean as I wanted to keep a bit of used effect splattered all
over it. I got rid of most of the paint stains though.
To finish it I then used Lord Sheraton's wood balm to give it a lovely satin finish. It also helps protect the wood.
