The Prettiest And Easiest Flapjack Ever!

The prettiest and easiest flapjacks ever!!

What I like about this kind of baking is that it is easy. The only dish I used was my Magimix bowl and there are only 5 ingredients.
You will need 250g of oats, 125g butter, 125g golden/ brown sugar, 3-5 tbsp of golden golden syrup and a full sized bar of dark chocolate.

Measure out and mix these all together in a magimix or food processor using the pulsing button so you don't break down the oats too much. Then grease a tray and pour the mixture in pressing it out to the edges. I used a round tray as I wanted triangle slices. It works well in a rectangle one too. Put in a 180 degree oven for around 25 mins or until golden brown. Leave to sit for 5 mins then empty it out of the tin onto a cooling tray.

Once it is completely cool, cut into triangles as equally as possible. Then melt one full size bar of dark chocolate in a small Tupperware box (Make sure it will fit a slice of flapjack in on its side as this will make dipping easier). I did mine in the microwave for about 30 seconds then in intervals of 10 with stirring.
Once the chocolate has melted dip one side of the flapjack in it then place on a cooling rack to set. You may want to put some baking paper underneath the cooling rack so that it catches the drips.
Leave to set then plate up and enjoy!
