Spring time is a beautiful time for the fashion world. It lets us all begin to feel that we don't need as many layers, or all the paraphernalia of hats, scarfs and gloves!
For me, spring fashion is all about losing the big coats. Lovely lighter, fresh coloured pieces are able to come out and you can just enjoy a top and jacket combination.
Something that I never stray too far away from is stripes. As a wardrobe essential I don't think there is a possibility to have too many striped tops; fitted ones, baggy ones, ones of different colour, they are all useful. Finding casual ones is great and this navy stripped top with deep V back is a really great oversized one. It is from the new Lavitta range which I was invited to try along with this oversized coat.
For spring, these pieces are perfect and the coat is thick enough to allow me to just wear the t-shirt underneath.
For a look which offers easy spring time, I have teamed them with some white jeans and ankle boots. The beautiful navy striped top pops out against the plain light colours and helps create a sense of freshness to a simple jeans and jacket combination. The jacket in a light caramel colour is great to see you into spring (and it is in the sale too) and wear with a variety of colours and prints.
I love this look, and on a sunny day with flowers or cappuccino in hand you have the perfect look for waltzing into spring time.
